Your mission:
This role is not open to freelance or consultancy arrangements.
Design and implement SAP SCM solutions that align with business strategy, meet operational needs, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
This role is operating on a hybrid model from our state-of-the-art Watford office.
What you will do:
- Advise on logistics process design using standard SAP functionality.
- Solve complex business challenges and recommend strategic improvements.
- Configure and maintain SAP logistics processes with minimal oversight.
- Prototype new features and develop functional specifications.
- Support testing cycles: unit, integration, and user acceptance.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Evaluate new SAP features and manage upgrades.
- Lead small to mid-sized projects and contribute to larger initiatives.
- Review and guide work from internal and external consultants.
- Mentor junior team members and support their development.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT standards.
- Create and update user guides as needed.
What we ask for:
SAP Expertise:
- Deep hands-on experience in Logistics Execution (LE) and Materials Management (MM).
- Strong understanding of integration with SD, FI, CS, PM, WM, PP.
- Expertise in warehouse management (decentralized, lean, full WM).
- Proven experience in SAP procurement and release strategies.
- Skilled in iDoc configuration and management.
- Solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain and transportation impacts.
General Skills:
- Experience in complex, international matrix organizations.
- Strong project management and business analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in testing methodologies and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Jira, Power BI.
- Advantageous S/4HANA Logistics experience.
