Your mission:

As a Senior Sales Operations Specialist, you'll oversee customer service systems, handle customer queries, and support ongoing process improvements. Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting, system oversight, and small-scale project work are key to driving efficiency and enhancing Epson’s customer experience.

 

This role sits within a small Sales Operations team with Epson NL where we continue to offer three days working from home, and two days at our Amsterdam offices.

 

What you will do:

  • Ensure all daily tasks, including order entry, claim processing, customer queries, customer billing and sales minus credits, are processed in a complete, timely and accurate way
  • Support manages the Sales Administration team to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction with focus in the following key areas:
  • Order / Stock allocation process with business management
  • Daily cooperation between Finance, Planning and Supply Chain for the fulfilment of orders
  • Monitoring our transport partners’ performance against customer requirements / slot bookings
  • Manage customer related KPI’s to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Tracking of order progress against current customer targets
  • Reducing OFLT and order ageing
  • Perform monthly checks of JSOX controls and maintain all process and procedure documents to ensure full compliance with Epson quality standards including ISO and JSOX
  • Manage and maintain all Sales Administration metrics and KPI’s and produce monthly KPI packs.
  • Support testing in SAP including changes to existing transactions as well as implementation of new transactions
  • Support the Assistant Manager Sales Administration to ensure an efficient Sales Administration team, through recruitment, training, daily coordination, motivating all Sales Administration staff. Take on direct responsibility for training and daily guidance of Trainees in the team.
  • Manage the customer accounts claim cycle through to resolution, Progressing all correspondence, documentation and enquiries regarding transaction processing of:
  • Commercial claims including stock rotation
  • Back margin
  • Price protection
  • Logistical claims
  • Work closely with the commercial and supply chain departments ensuring that transactions are validated and processed in a complete, timely and accurate basis.
  • Work closely with credit control to ensure effective front-end management of the sales/collection areas.
  • Support the Manager Sales Administration in any projects surrounding new business flows
  • Manage the back-office process for Print & Save and Epson Print Performance in EEB 
  • As required, act as back up for Assistant Manager Sales Administration in their absence

 

What we ask for:

  • Previous Sales Administration experience
  • Good understanding of international business and global supply chain
  • Good communication skills (written / verbal and face to face)
  • Good understanding of Order to cash processes and relevant KPI’s
  • Computer literate: MS Office and SAP.
  • Good comprehension of data consolidation and reporting
  • Attention to detail and desire to follow issues through to closure
  • Has the ability to be logical and proactive
  • Ability to take ownership of a business process
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good written and spoken English (Additional local languages also a plus)
