The Payroll and Reward Operations Associate will provide administrative and data support to payroll and reward processes to the payroll operations team. The role performs routine payroll data preparation, document management, reporting support and first line query handling. It also supports reward operations activity including data collection, benefits reporting and salary review preparation.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Prepare, enter and validate routine payroll input data including new hire details, changes, absences and other lifecycle updates in line with submission deadlines.
  • Perform basic payroll validation checks and reconciliations, escalating discrepancies to the (Senior) Payroll Operations Specialists.
  • Support the review of payroll outputs from the outsourced payroll provider by gathering supporting data, checking specific fields and preparing corrections as needed.
  • Maintain payroll documentation, audit evidence and data logs in line with internal governance, J SOX requirements and statutory obligations.
  • Respond to routine payroll-related queries from employees, People Services Teams and managers, escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
  • Support reward operations activities, including data collection for salary review, benefits census updates, benchmarking submissions and compensation reporting.
  • Raise purchase orders for People Operations in SAP system, ensuring correct cost coding, supplier selection, documentation and approval routing.
  • Complete goods receipting in SAP once goods or services have been delivered, ensuring compliance with finance and procurement requirements.
  • Submit new vendor requests to the SAP Master Data and Authorisations Team in line with procurement and finance process requirements.
  • Assist with the production of standard payroll and reward reports by preparing data extracts and updating templates.
  • Liaise with People Operations and People Technology to resolve basic data issues or identify missing information.
  • Maintain administrative trackers, calendars, templates and process documents to support smooth team operations.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring errors, data gaps or opportunities to streamline processes.

 

What we ask for:

 

  • Education in the HR field.
  • Experience in administrative or data processing roles is desirable; payroll or people experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
  • Good numerical skills and ability to work with payroll or People data.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and escalate issues promptly.
  • Experience raising purchase orders, goods receipting or working with finance processes in People or payroll system is desirable.
  • Experience using People or payroll systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues, managers and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.

 

What we offer:

Monthly salary 1250 - 1550 EUR gross (The final offer will be based on the candidate’s assessed skills, knowledge and experience.).
