The New Product Operations (NPO) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all product data is correctly set up and available to relevant parties in time for each product launch and during the product life cycle, whereby internal processes and external rules (e.g. for intrastat) are adhered to.

 

This is a great opportunity to join Epson as we establish our brand-new office in Riga. You’ll be a founding member of our Epson Business Services team, collaborating with colleagues locally across functions such as finance, supply chain and logistics. You’ll also work closely with Epson teams all over Europe. 

 

Salary: 14,680-18,350 (EUR) + Bonus

What you will do:

 

  • Set up and issue the Finished Goods Bill of Materials (FG BoM) in SAP and keep track of the Bill of materials (BoM) history management. Demonstrate this is achieved, run gap analysis and present realistic deadlines for open items.
  • Set up and issue the Kit BoMs (is part of a BoM) & Progress BoMs to be submitted internally and to external suppliers.
  • Ensure the FG BoM and Kit BoM are kept updated. This includes revision control, supporting product managers with release of the FG BoM to master data as well as the Kit BoM and components to external suppliers (sample proofing etc.).
  • Check, file and issue technical information to 3PLs based on instructions from the Localisation team and Marketing e.g. firmware, within the schedule of the planned product launches. Issue orders to suppliers accordingly.
  • Control product first article inspection report & process, from warehouse for accuracy, extract relevant data for environmental reporting and any amendment to SAP if necessary.
  • Set up and issue the notification message of new, updated or changed products to assigned suppliers and/or distribution centers.
  • In case of changes to products or product compliance, update all key information (Finished Goods, Kit’s, Components, Masters, etc.) and inform relevant stakeholders (SAP Masterdata, Suppliers, Warehouses, Product Managers, Planning department, etc.).
  • Maintain the New Product Introduction file as a key component for reporting to management, keeping stakeholders informed of status and signaling potential bottlenecks.
  • Perform analysis of master data, to ensure consistency is maintained across all platforms. Inform management of discrepancies and appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from Sales/Marketing/Product Management i.e serial number checks.
  • Produce weekly management report demonstrating progress of all new product introductions, results of gaps analysis and resolve and priorities list for the coming week

 

 

What we ask for:Bottom of Form

 

  • Preferably Bachelor degree level in Supply Chain or Business Management (or relevant work experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with administrative processes & method, including dealing with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent Computer literacy: MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP system knowledge (SAP (Logistics / Material Management module) + Power BI is highly beneficial).
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Able to collaborate to get things done.
  • Experience in making analysis and reporting using Excel/Power BI, using different sources of data.
