Here at Epson Europe we are looking for our first Facilities Manager for our brand new office in Riga!
You will proactively manage, maintain and develop our new office, ensuring an excellent working environment for employees and business activities. As part of the role you will deliver fit-for-purpose, safe, cost-effective, environmentally conscious, and compliant facilities within agreed budgets.
This is a great opportunity to join Epson as we establish our brand-new office in Riga. You’ll be a founding member of our Epson Business Services team, collaborating with colleagues locally across functions such as finance, supply chain and logistics. You’ll also work closely with Epson teams all over Europe.
Salary: 32,000-40,000 (EUR) + Bonus

What you will do:
- Manage landlord and supplier relationships, resolving issues and negotiating cost-effective solutions.
- Implement proactive maintenance plans to ensure building functionality and asset protection.
- Oversee contractors, permits, and project work; ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Act as first point of contact for facilities matters for management and employees.
- Plan and manage essential services (reception, security, cleaning, catering, mail, waste, etc.).
- Allocate and manage office space, desks, parking, and equipment per company standards.
- Support business continuity plans.
- Manage facilities-related contracts, leases, and property portfolio database.
- Provide support to central Fleet team (if required), acting as an intermediate with the local fleet provider.
- Prepare and monitor budgets/forecasts, and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Process invoices accurately and maintain asset and inventory records.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and environmental standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, maintain evacuation plans, and supervise Fire Officers/First Aiders.
- Support ISO certifications and drive CSR and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with Central Facilities team on estate management, contracts, insurance and other related centrally owned activities.
- Role model and contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Manage reception services and ensure effective communication and processes.
What we ask for:
- Experience in Total Facilities Management including managing a building, and facilities services.
- Practical experience in property lease, contracts & agreement management is beneficial
- Financial experience in preparing, maintaining & reporting on budget performance.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and managing a business continuity plan.
- Experience in procurement/tender processes is beneficial
- Health & Safety and security skills gathered in a corporate office environment.
- Strong negotiating & influencing skills.
- Project Management experience is beneficial.
- Experience with SAP, and/or Sharepoint is beneficial.
- Fluent in English and Latvian.
