Your mission:

 

Would you like to join a new Logistics Team in Riga?

 

The Logistics Specialist supports sales management by ensuring maximum availability of stock to execute Sales Orders (order to cash cycle maximization), over all Epson Europe’s warehouses, value of stock >200M€.

 

The role will ensure stock accuracy ensuring KPIs are maintained resolve system-system issues, prevent sales promise on unavailable stock. Recover stock to a saleable condition (i.e. repack). It covers inbound and outbound logistics, system integrity, inventory control, and resolution of claims and discrepancies.

 

This is a great opportunity to join Epson as we establish our brand-new office in Riga. You’ll be a founding member of our Epson Business Services team, collaborating with colleagues locally across functions such as finance, supply chain and logistics. You’ll also work closely with Epson teams all over Europe. 

 

Salary: 14,400 -18,000  (EUR) + Bonus

What you will do:

 

  • Monitor daily stock accuracy between SAP and WMS; resolve discrepancies and propose system improvements.  
  • Provide the monthly report on inventory variance (cycle count variance/ stock adjustment) and J-SOX monitoring documentation.
  • Resolve unsolved i-docs in SAP (e.g. goods issue, inbound, internal movements, MIGO, COGI).
  • Investigate and correct cycle count discrepancies with warehouse and internal teams.
  • Support inbound processes, including customs documentation and HS code validation to avoid unnecessary duty payments and charges.
  • Manage SAP stock movements due to quality issues, damages, or repacking needs, taking the relevant action.
  • Log customer complaints, liaise with stakeholders (internal/external) and ensure that all claims are solved or closed within agreed KPI’s.
  • Ensure returns processing is followed and that goods are to sellable stock as quickly as possible.
  • Ensure carton damaged units are re-packaged as quickly as possible, to ensure goods can be sold again.
  • Create Purchase Orders to order replacement cartons or pallets.
  • Keep re-pack packaging data in SAP is up-to-date by providing information to Master Data team for uploading.
  • Perform user acceptance tests in SAP for changes to system.
  • Perform virtual bookings Goods receipt/Goods issue when requested by management.
  • Perform on-site (Warehouses) J-Sox controls (i.e. inventory checks) i.a.w. procedures

 

 

What we ask for:Bottom of Form

 

  • Education in Supply Chain, logistics/ finance or relevant industry experience.
  • Very Good command of Excel and other Office tools Power BI beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP or other ERP.
  • Ability to work independently while following policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in getting problems solved quickly.
  • Experience in dealing with and meeting daily deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills to investigate and resolve to be able to maintain data integrity.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Good communication skills to be able to liaise with various internal and external stakeholder.
