Your mission:
The Marketing Manager is accountable of of leading and executing our B2C and B2B marketing strategy, especially channel marketing initiatives across East Africa, West Africa, and the SADC region.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting and enabling resellers and retailers through localized marketing, events, and partner campaigns. This is a strategic role focused on supporting our channel ecosystem to accelerate product sales, brand presence and product awareness in diverse and high-potential markets.
What you will do:
- Plan and execute channel marketing activities to support reseller channel and retailers across the region.
- Customize marketing toolkits, campaigns, and point-of-sale materials for local market needs.
- Organize and manage channel events, trainings, and regional trade shows.
- Coordinate with distributors and partners to support co-marketing programs and ensure visibility.
- Develop lead-generation campaigns aligned with business priorities and sales objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and partner feedback to inform marketing strategy.
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness, partner engagement, and ROI.
- Ensure regional alignment with marketing guidelines and messaging
What we ask for:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, preferably with a focus on channel or trade marketing.
- Strong knowledge of African channel/reseller networks in tech, IT, or electronics.
- Experience managing marketing activities across multiple African countries.
- Proactive, hands-on, and culturally agile with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed. (Up to 35% of the time)
