Would you like to join a new Logistics Team in Riga?

The Inventory & Warehouse Operations Specialist supports sales management by ensuring maximum availability of stock to execute Sales Orders (order to cash cycle maximization), over all Epson Europe’s warehouses, value of stock >200M€.

The role will ensure stock accuracy ensuring KPIs are maintained resolve system-system issues, prevent sales promise on unavailable stock. Recover stock to a saleable condition (i.e. repack). It covers inbound and outbound logistics, system integrity, inventory control, and resolution of claims and discrepancies.

This is a great opportunity to join Epson as we establish our brand-new office in Riga. You’ll be a founding member of our Epson Business Services team, collaborating with colleagues locally across functions such as finance, supply chain and logistics. You’ll also work closely with Epson teams all over Europe.  


What you will do: 

 

  • Monitor stock accuracy between Epson SAP system and 3PL providers, Warehouse Management System, investigate variances, and resolve system to system errors
  • Review warehouse interface errors regularly, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes with internal teams
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies (cycle counts, stock adjustments) and support monthly variance reporting
  • Support warehouse performance by analyzing delays in picking and shipping and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Manage claims and customer complaints, ensuring they are resolved within agreed KPIs
  • Support inbound and returns processes, including customs documentation and sellable stock recovery
  • Handle SAP stock movements related to damages, quality issues, or repacking
  • Support cost control activities such as invoice checks and packaging orders
  • Perform system testing (UAT), virtual goods movements, and inventory controls when required.

What we ask for: 

 

  • Education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence with MS Office; Power BI is a plus
  • Good ERP system knowledge, preferably SAP (inventory or warehouse modules preferred)
  • Ability to work independently while following defined processes and controls
  • Proven ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and resolve problems efficiently
  • Experience working in an environment with daily tasks, tight deadlines, and frequent system issues
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) to communicate with colleagues in Europe
  • Clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
