Your mission:
Epson is offering a finance internship within their EMEA department, like a junior business analyst role. The intern will be part of a team of 7 analysts, reporting directly to the Business Control & Support Manager. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with various financial analysis tasks in an international environment, as well as a chance to complete a case study for a final dissertation. This is a full-time position (38.75 hours per week) under a three-way agreement between the student, Epson, and their university. The intern will receive daily coaching, foundational financial training, career development support, and regular performance reviews in line with Epson's standards. Epson recognises the importance of flexibility in a modern lifestyle, so this role comes with X3 days WFH.
The start date for this role is 1st June.
Please note that you must be enrolled at a Dutch university to be eligible for this traineeship.
What you will do:
- Monthly financial reporting
- Planning & reporting: management reporting & target setting
- Owner of forecasting process: data collection and analysis
- Involve in cost control
- Ad hoc analysis
- Special projects / Project Support
- Help documenting day to day business performance processes, and finalizing reporting tools Contribute to dashboard, forecast, and Key Performance Indicators data computation
What we ask for:
- Studying for master’s degree in business or finance. Minimum of 3 years completed
- Student looking for a 6 to 9 months internship during last year of study or gap year with:
- Strong financial knowledge
- Strong affinity with finance and information systems
- Preferably exposure to international business environment
- Ability to make the link between finance and business
- Good knowledge of Excel, including experience in using excel as a tool for financial analysis and reporting
- Preferably experience and knowledge of ERP (e.g. SAP)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
