Your Mission:

We’re looking for a dedicated HR Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team in a part-time, temporary capacity. This role will support HR operations across Austria and Switzerland, as well as provide assistance to expats and Japanese employees. You’ll also contribute to administrative HR tasks for the wider DACH region and support ongoing HR projects.

This position is part of a job share arrangement, with one of the two part-time roles still available. We offer 20 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, flexible working with core hours from 10:00 to 12:00 and up to 2 home office days per week.

What you will do:

Support for Austria & Switzerland Employees

• Provide end-to-end HR support for a small employee population (currently fewer than 20)
• Handle preparatory payroll tasks
• Introduce and manage employee benefits
• Support occupational safety topics

Support for Expats & Japanese Employees

• Provide full HR support for one employee, including preparatory payroll
• Liaise with external partners for visa, accommodation, and relocation matters

Administrative Support for Epson DACH

• Draft employment contracts and coordinate with works councils
• Prepare and issue certificates and A1 documentation
• Maintain personnel files
• Support end-of-trial appraisals
• Assist with recruitment (e.g. translating job ads, initial interviews for internal candidates)
• Support time recording processes

Project Work

• Contribute to international and local HR projects

What we ask for:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent commercial training
• Solid experience in HR operations
• Knowledge of payroll and labour law in Austria and Switzerland
• Strong MS Office skills; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Good command of English
