Your mission:
Epson has a dynamic opportunity for a Corporate Sustainability Manager!
In post you will be responsible for all sustainability matters in the DACH region, including regulatory affairs, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) obligations.
This includes helping Epson to work towards our own decarbonization goals and advancing a circular economy through initiatives like our ECO Tank refurbishment trials in Germany.
The Corporate Sustainability Manager reports directly into the Corporate Sustainability Director and collaborates with a passionate team of 14 CSR professionals.
Epson gets the importance of real work-life balance. This hybrid role allows you to work three days from home and two days from our Dussledorf offices.
What you will do:
- Plans and implements sustainability activities to demonstrate the company’s commitment
- Coordinates sustainability programs with internal and external groups (e.g. government, sales, marketing, HR, legal, product development)
- Represents Epson in government, trade associations, and industry alliances on sustainability matters
- Reviews and recommends improvements for sustainability programs
- Tracks regulatory changes related to ESG matters
- Monitors, reports, assesses, advocates, and plans for ESG activities, including EPR reporting
- Supports sales and represents sustainability in commercial meetings
- Assists with sustainability-related questions on tenders and customer inquiries
- Advises product management and sales teams on national/local environmental issues
- Reports on sustainability/ESG performance to ensure compliance with company and CSRD requirements
- Ensures compliance with SEC/EEB’s environmental policies and standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 9001, SDG Management System)
- Oversees company objectives, KPIs, procedures, corrective actions, and plans internal and external audits

- Ability to interpret legal texts
- Proven experience in administrative tasks and reporting
- Excellent influencing skills
- Experience with ISO certification and audits
- Consistently delivers high accuracy and quality
- Works well in a team and communicates effectively
- Thinks creatively and not just follows processes
- Manages tight deadlines while staying focused
- Proficient in English and the local language both verbally and in writing
- IT literate, including MS Office (Excel) and SharePoint
- Commercially focused
