Your mission:
Epson is seeking new talent and energy to join our Sales / Marketing team based in Greece for a fixed term contract until the end of maternity leave expected max until July 2027.
We are looking for a driven and proactive marketing manager to support our local sales teams across Greece in development and implementation of the central marketing plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for all marketing activities such as creation & roll out of local marketing plans, managing PR, channel & end-user communication, events, budget, and planning.
As flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle this role also comes with two days WFH.
What you will do:
- Develop local marketing materials if required using centrally created creatives and work with approved local marketing communication agencies, ensuring that all materials are on message, on brand, on time and within budget
- Ensure all locally produced materials are approved by central marketing at concept and final stage
- Support the local implementation of the Channel Partner Programme via marketing communication
- Check translations of centrally produced marketing communications materials including promotions, advertising, brochures, POS, and PR
- Communicate central plans and materials throughout the local organisation.
- Provide local requirements (e.g., localization & print quantity) for all central marketing collateral
- Provide feedback on centrally planned materials
- Ensure that all promotional initiatives and activities provide a good ROI.
- Drive and develop local PR & social media strategies, campaigns, and initiatives with the support of local agencies to improve the public perception of Epson in line with business objectives
- Work with the central PR team on the planning and implementation of PR and social media activities
- Produce local case studies following the agreed approval process and amplify to the media
- Co-ordinate locally agreed central sponsorship activities
- Develop and implement an events plan (channel and end user) which may include roadshows, exhibitions, corporate hospitality, channel, and internal staff events
- Plan, manage and accurately forecast strategic marketing budgets to ensure value for money and agreed ROI
- Ensure all activities have agreed KPIs
- Provide consolidated reports on marketing activities and expenditure to the Manager, Marketing Services
What we ask for:
- Fluent English speaker with excellent written English
- Strong experience in all areas of marketing with a good understanding of the local market
- Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level with marketing specialization
- Previous experience working in a matrix organisation, ideally within a comparable industry
- PR and Social Media experience, including managing agencies locally
- Ability to communicate well with peers and senior management
- Confident at running large group meetings and adapting style to the audience
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Commercially and financially aware with experience managing/co-ordinating costs within defined budget
- Team player who can operate remotely from line manager/team
- Proactive, pragmatic, and flexible approach, able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Ability to assess and solve issues quickly
- Intermediate level of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
