Epson are recruiting for an IT Specialist to support our internal Epson employees when it comes to all thing’s tech – hardware & software, IT equipment, and IT security.

This will be a 1 year fixed term contract (employed by Epson)
What you will do:
Delivery and service request activities
Daily support user on:
- Onsite User Support
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or e-mails regarding incidents/service requests
- Liaise with third party support and PC vendors
- Liaise with, and provide training and support to end users and staff on computer operation
- Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users. Recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance: checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end user workstation software & hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking software & hardware products
- Management of IT hardware (Desktop/Laptop etc.) in accordance with relevant policies
- Provide training to end users on computer operation and other issues
- Create and maintain KB articles to aid with user self-service incident/problem resolution
Incident/service request management activities
- Be the local escalation point for un-resolved requests or complaints
- Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
- Incident/ Service Request creation, categorisation, prioritisation and escalation to responsible 2nd level team according to ITIL methodology
- Perform post-resolution follow ups with Level II Technicians as required
IT asset management and IT procurement activities
- Maintain IT hardware (Desktop/ Laptop etc.) and software (Adobe, other software in the service catalogue) lifecycle records and act in accordance with the relevant policies
- Coordinate local IT purchases and contracts and liaise with third-party
What we ask for:
- Good customer service skills
- ITIL foundation certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Understanding of Networking principles is an advantage
- Understanding of Cyber Security principles is an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory/Intune/SCCM
- Must be capable of answering user queries and solving 1st line support problems
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
